We are honored to present the Third Cohort of the 19th Legion on this page
(LEG XIX COH III).
We are a group interested in archeology and Roman history from the Augustan period, specifically the establishment of the military camp at Oberaden up to the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest (9 AD) where LEG XIX was lost.
